Guardianship Fees

Scale of Fees:

 

Guardianship Fee (for the year) £1500.00

 

Accommodation and Food (per day) £45.00

 

Expenses during the school year £2000.00

This fee covers the following:

Theatre entrance, train tickets to London and the underground or taxi use if they have large suitcases  with them,  restaurants and meals  when out in London on a day trip, or Chinese or Pizza Hut meals, theme parks, bowling, skating, going to school functions, prize giving day, shopping, medical appointments, dentists and activities taken at school that are billed to us such as music lessons or private physiotherapy treatment taken after an injury. It also covers to and from airports, to and from school to our home, mobile phone top up, pocket money, or anything the child would need over the year.   

 

Exceats or Long Weekends £540.00

In some schools there are as many as 6 exceat weekends when the schools close and the children come to us. Within the schools that this does not happen the children are allowed to visit us for weekends - something they ask a lot to do in the beginning and a lot less as the year progresses when they feel more at ease with themselves.

 

Trips during the school year

1st Half Term break in October (£950.00)

This trip is to Cornwall, at the south western peninsula of Great Britain. Includes: Accommodation, transport and all activities during the week, only pocket money needed

2nd Half Term Break in February (£1500.00)

This is to either Andorra, France, Italy, Austria or Switzerland
Includes: 6 nights stay, flights, 3 meals a day, ski lessons, all ski hire equipment and lift passes - no hidden extra’s only pocket money needed

3rd Half Term in June (£1500.00)

Is a cruise in the Mediterranean

2nd June 2012 to 9th June 2012:

Half term week

Fly to Palma Majorca to embark onto the ship

Day 1. Sail for a day

Day 2. Sicily

Day 3. Italy Naples

Day 4. Italy Rome

Day 5. Corsica Calvi

Day 6. Spain Palamos

Day 7. Sail to Palma to fly home on the 9th June 2012


Includes: Cruise, Flights, 3 meals a day and all activities during the week, only pocket money needed

 

What is not included in the guardianship fee:

 

Transfers:

 

• To and from school
• To and from airports
• To and from London or any place we are asked to collect and return children to
• We divide the cost of any transfers by how many are in the vehicle. The cost is 90p per mile
• Entrance fees to any event and any travel expenses, train ticket or mini bus cost
• Cost of any meals eaten at restaurants when out on visits

 

If a child is travelling anywhere in England a train ticket for the destination needs to be purchased for the child, this will be billed to the parents

Likewise, if the child needs to accompanied on such a journey the additional cost for the adult’s ticket is payable by the parents, plus as escort fee

Entries to museums, theatres, theme parks, cinema, bowling or any extra activities, all come out of the child’s expense account that is held with us.

Each Child must have their own debit card (you have to open an account in Mexico) so they can get their pocket money deposited there any time the parent considers it necessary you can then gauge how much your child is spending

All trips will be booked when the first deposit is paid, unless otherwise informed

 

The payments will be made the following way:

1st Payment of £4000.00 to be paid when you ask for the guardianship service, this payment covers the guardianship fee of (£1500.00) half the expenses (£1000.00) and the reservation fee for all the trips (£500.00) each

2nd Payment of £4000.00 to be paid before you bring your son/daughter to school, this is to cover the second half of the expenses (£1000.00) and the balance of the trips.

3rd Payment is of any expense fee that is not used will be refunded at the end of the school year once the accounts are sent

 

 

None of the above fees cover the Christmas or the Easter holiday, but we do offer an Easter trip if you want it. Please advise if you are interested in the Easter trip so it can be booked early as Easter is a very busy time and it is not easy to book things late.

List of activities for the Easter holiday

 

Wednesday 4th April 2012 to Wednesday 11th April 2012

I am planning a cruise on the Nile: "the Jewels of the Nile"
This is the itinerary

Day 1
We fly to Luxor where we are taken to the ship that we are going to sail down the Nile on.

Day 2
Visit the East bank of the Nile Including a visit to Karnak and Luxor Temples.

Day 3


Visit Valley of the Queens and Memnon Colossi, then return to ship and sail to Edfu.

Day 4


Visit Temple Edfu, return to ship and sail to Kom Omboto. Visit Temple of Haroeris and Sobek in Kom then return to ship and sail to Aswan.

Day 5

Visit Aswan high dam, the unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple.
Sail to Felucca passing the Aga Khans Mausoleum then when we dock we visit the Botanical Gardens. There is an optional tour of Aswan in the late afternoon if wanted.

Day 6

Visit Abu Simbel in the morning and then sail to Edfu.

Day 7

Sail to Luxor, visit Luxor and spend the night there.

Day 8

We leave the ship in the afternoon for a relaxing day shopping in Luxor if wanted and then fly back to England.

 

The cost of the trip is £1600.00

This price is fully inclusive and will also cover the cost of the visa needed for this trip for Mexicans.
